Bingham

In a Bingham plastic, there is a certain minimum amount of tension required in order to bring the liquid in motion. This value is called the yield stress. In stirring a Bingham plastic, a minimum stirring speed is also necessary in order to prevent a part of the liquid from remaining stationary. Examples of Bingham plastics are wallpaper paste and mayonnaise.
